I’ve always had a passion for cooking and have spent years experimenting with sauces. My diverse background has profoundly influenced my culinary adventures. My father, born in Indonesia, was of Dutch and Indonesian descent, while my mother was a Latina American from Los Angeles. Growing up, I was fortunate to experience a rich blend of flavors from both sides of my family. Now, I’m dedicated to recreating those childhood tastes and developing new recipes to share with my loved ones.

When my first daughter was born, I transitioned from my lifelong career as an artist to becoming a stay-at-home dad. This shift allowed me to dive deeper into my love for flavor. This passion drives my work with HAB, where I explore the limitless possibilities of taste and how to combine them with varying levels of heat.
